Tanker Deliveries:
Salt Express Ltd are not responsible in anyway or form for customers saturators/silos. It is only responsible to the end point of its own delivery hose. It is your responsibility to ensure that the saturator/ silo and all is associated attachments etc are fit for purpose.
For a silo delivery, you must ensure that there is sufficient room for the booked tonnage plus a safe empty space to ensure no pressurising of your vessel and that the air can safely and speedily escape.
For a saturator delivery, it is for you the Customer to ensure the water level is low enough to allow both air and salt in whilst letting the air escape safely via an air vent. Failure to do so may lead to damage. This is your responsibility.
Our Professional Drivers have the right to refuse to discharge if they believe it not safe to do so and a non-delivery minimum charge of £900 + VAT will be actioned against your given official purchase order that the delivery is/was booked against.
